Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actor who is most well known for her roles on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated through TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7, and Under the Dome since she began her career with an acting role in 2003. Anna's performance in Assault on Precinct 13 was her debut big break. It was however her portrayal of feminist activist Fannie Louis Hamer in the biography film All the Way, which gave her the respect she was due as an actor. Hind was praised for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed 9-1-1 for a brand new season. Recently Hind completed filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is set for a release in the middle of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj died in the month of March after a lengthy stint as a scientist for India's Army. Vrinda, her mother is a domestic worker. Aditya Rao who is employed in the field of merchant navy engineering is her sibling older. The elder brother of Bachchan and her mother co-produced Dil Ka Rishta. Arya Vidya Mandir School was the high school she attended in Mumbai after she moved to Mumbai together with the family. Her intermediate studies were completed in Jai Hind College for a one year, before transferring to D.G. Ruparel College Matunga is where she scored a mark of 90 % in H.S.C. exams. She took classes in music and classical dancing for five of her years as an young adult. Her favourite subject was Zoology. Bachchan was a student of architecture when she was awarded the title of Miss World 1994. It was a title that catapulted Bachchan into the fast-lane of modeling. She received attractive jobs at PepsiCo Inc. as well as Vogue magazine. She also signed a contract as model for L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel. The year 1997 was the time she starred in two celebrated parts: Iruvar and Aur pyaar hogaia. Bachchan became the face of New Bollywood with these films that challenged Bollywood's fundamental form of structure. The heart-breaking performance of Bachchan as Paro the love interest who got married by her lover in Devdas (2002) which was one of the most well-known Bollywood films of that time. Its premiere at Cannes Film Festival cemented her as the queen of Bollywood. Chokher bali (2003) was the following film that she won praise. It's a thriller based on Rabindranath Tagore's novel. She became the very first Indian actress who served on the Cannes Film Festival's jury that same year. Bachchan played the lead role as a lead actress in Gurinder Chatha's Bride and Prejudice. It was a musical and dance adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Her beauty and her fame was then merged in her first English film. After the film's release, Provoked: a True Story in English, she went back to Bollywood and starred in the film Dhoom: 2 (2007). Abhishek Bachchan got married to her in April of 2007. He is both a Bollywood superstar and a regular co-star.
