Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actor who is most well known for her roles on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated through TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7, and Under the Dome since she began her career with an acting role in 2003. Anna's performance in Assault on Precinct 13 was her debut big break. It was however her portrayal of feminist activist Fannie Louis Hamer in the biography film All the Way, which gave her the respect she was due as an actor. Hind was praised for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed 9-1-1 for a brand new season. Recently Hind completed filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is set for a release in the middle of 2019. She became the very first Indian actress who served on the Cannes Film Festival's jury that same year. Bachchan played the lead role as a lead actress in Gurinder Chatha's Bride and Prejudice. It was a musical and dance adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Her beauty and her fame was then merged in her first English film. After the film's release, Provoked: a True Story in English, she went back to Bollywood and starred in the film Dhoom: 2 (2007). Abhishek Bachchan got married to her in April of 2007. He is both a Bollywood superstar and a regular co-star.
